What Is
God gives you something — a vision, a promise, a purpose — and because you don’t know all the details, you nervously say "But, what if?..."
There are things, upon things, upon things to consider before you do anything. But when God tells you to do something that doesn’t make sense or makes you feel inadequate, you overthink, and then your overthinking is intensified by the enemy.
You are caught in a net of "what ifs" and you let fear paralyze you from doing God's will. You imagine everything that can go wrong. You enter those scenarios in your mind and leave the present. You leave what God said behind.
But, your "what ifs" are not what is. What is — as in what is true — is the word that God spoke over you. What is, is that you are not alone, God will guide you, and you were made for what He called you to do; that the enemy is lying to you and distracting you from what is, so you don’t use God’s current provision to pursue your purpose. Don't forget the truth. Don’t settle for lies. Your mind needs to walk in God’s truth before you walk in God’s purpose for your life.
Verse: Psalm 119:42 NIV, 2 Corinthians 3:5 NLT
“then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in your word.” (Psalm 119:42 NIV)
“It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God.” (2 Corinthians 3:5 NLT)
